This explains what personal data we hold, where we got it, what we do with it and how to make us stop. Last updated 3 September 2026.
The short version. We list podcasts and the contact address each show publishes in its own RSS feed. We did not get those addresses from the people they belong to, so we tell them, and any host can correct or delete their entry at any time with one click and no account. We run no analytics, set two strictly necessary cookies, and never sell data.

Podcast Amplify is a service operated by Domain Farm Ltd, which is the data controller for everything described here.
For each podcast in the directory we may hold the show name, publisher name, category, episode history, publishing cadence, artwork, website, and the contact email address the show publishes in its own RSS feed (the itunes:owner or managingEditor element). Where a feed names a host, we may hold that name. Some of this is personal data, because a one-person podcast's inbox is that person's.
Where it came from. Each show's own public RSS feed, Apple's public podcast index, and Podcastindex.org. We did not obtain it from you.
What we never do. We do not buy or licence contact lists, do not generate addresses from name patterns such as firstname.lastname@, do not probe mail servers to test whether an address exists, and do not use B2B contact databases.
If you use the link we email you, you can tell us whether you accept guest pitches, whether you charge and how much, your name, a better contact address, your country, and what you do and do not want pitched. You give us this deliberately, and it replaces anything we had inferred.
If you create an account we hold your email address, a hashed password, your plan, the guest profiles you create and a record of the pitches you draft. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
If you ask to be told when pitching opens, we hold your email address and which plan you clicked.
For the directory itself we rely on legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): running a searchable index of published, professional contact routes so businesses can approach shows that invite approaches. We think that is proportionate because the data is professional rather than private, it was published by the show itself, and refusal is one click away.
For accounts and billing we rely on performance of a contract. For the waitlist we rely on consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Article 14 and why we email you. Because we obtained your details from your feed rather than from you, UK GDPR Article 14 says you are entitled to be told. That is exactly what our notice email is for. It is not marketing. It tells you what we hold, links you to a page where you can change or delete it, and does not ask you to buy anything.
Lost the link, or never received one? Email hello@podcastamplify.co.uk from the address published in your feed and we will send a fresh one.
We set two cookies and both are strictly necessary, so there is no consent banner because none is required.

We run no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party JavaScript of any kind on this site. Our emails carry no open tracking and no click tracking, because they promise as much.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
One thing worth being explicit about: contact addresses are shown only to people on a paid plan, one show at a time, and are withheld by the server rather than hidden in the page. Our public category and field pages say only whether a contact exists, never what it is, so the site cannot be scraped for a list of other people's addresses.
