Wants
Pitch me a specific, provable idea about how leaders keep people and performance moving without burning either out. That means a framework, a diagnostic, a decision rule, or a documented result, something a CEO or Chief People Officer can act on the same week they hear it, not a general opinion on leadership or culture. The strongest pitches usually come from one of four places: a system you built that reduced turnover, decision bottlenecks, or burnout in a real organization and can explain step by step; a contrarian but defensible position on something the audience already believes, like wellness perks, engagement surveys, or flat hierarchies; original research or data on retention, burnout, or performance that most C-suite leaders have not seen; or a personal account of leading through burnout or a coordination breakdown, told for what other leaders should do differently, not as a memoir. Tell me who the insight is for and what they should do differently after hearing it. One sentence is enough: "COOs stop doing X, start doing Y, here's why."
Do not pitch
What gets an automatic pass: pitches built around promoting a product or service rather than an idea, generic leadership platitudes with no mechanism behind them, anything aimed at job seekers or individual contributors rather than people who own other people's performance, and any pitch that reads like it was sent to fifty shows with my name swapped in.
Worth a pitch. This show publishes its own contact, sits outside the national chart, is independently published, and its recent episodes show it books guests.
